This page is based on CrossFit methodologies.  Users of this site are HIGHLY recommended to learn the nine basic movements (Overhead Press, Push Press, Push Jerk, Air Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift High Pull and Medicine Ball Clean).  You can view many tutorial videos linked in the daily WODS or here.  Scale the workouts to your skill level by changing loads, reps, sets or even exercises.  

THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF FITNESS IS NUTRITION.  A great guideline is to eat lean meats, garden vegetables, nuts and seeds, little to no starch, no sugar.  When shopping for protein sources, aim for grass-fed/wild protein sources.  The key is to avoid any foods that are processed in any way.

STAY AWAY FROM HIGH-GLYCEMIC FOODS.  These are the foods causing diabetes and heart disease in today's world.  These foods include rice, flour, grains, white potatoes, sugars, any sodas. Wonder if a food source has a high glycemic load?

Food distribution should be 30% protein, 40% carbs and 30% fats.  Yes... low fat diets are NOT the way to go.  Carb sources should primarily be from vegetables (the brighter colored veggies, the better).
